How did I get to this place? How is it that my in-box is overflowing with merchant emails touting "free shipping" here and "offer ends today" there?
I have just spent the last 20 minutes un-subscribing myself from merchant email lists. Everything from A-Z (or at least "BizRate" to "Zagats")
