Since it would be too time consuming to name each picture I save my pics with the date only - ex. 07-10-08(2). That makes it easy to do what you are doing. Also, if you take a lot of photos on one day you cando that by selelcting all from that date and renaming - it adds the number if there are more than one.
What a great idea, to take similar photos. It would be neat to do the same photo shot each year and then have them all to reflect back on...cute kiddos!
