It could happen to you

Growing up as a kid, I remember my brother and I getting a kick out of my mom's uncontrollable flatulence. She'd walk down the hallway and it would sound like rapid fire with every quick step she made.

We'd snicker and giggle at her expense and I remember times when she'd say... "You just wait 'til you have kids."

I didn't know if she meant that I should wait until I have kids to 1.) make fun of me; or 2.) destroy my body's ability to function properly.

Now, I know she was referring to #2.

Lately, I've been experiencing unexpected and uncontrollable... let's just say... well, you know... THAT! What I described above.... you know....

I mean, I'm not THAT old! I'm only 34! What gives?

She wasn't kidding when she said that one day, I'll get mine. That day has arrived.

So, if you hear me coming down the hallway, just look the other way. I seriously can't help it. Really.

And, if I act as if nothing happened... seriously, you should too.

And if you dare laugh at me for exposing my weakness on the internet for all to read... just wait... you're day is a comin'.
