Ahhhhh... we're home!
We left home on Saturday morning at 8:15 a.m., traveled 6 hours, battling holiday traffic, so we could have Christmas with my folks and my brother's family.
We also attended my extended family's annual Christmas party, which is always a hoot!
We got back in the van after Sunday lunch with my folks and finally, we're home again!
We all survived... barely.
It never ceases to surprice me to read how far apart families live where you are. 6 hours - if we drove for 6 hours we would be in a foreign country!!! Glad to hear you got there and back without any problems. As you know - today is our busy day and we will start preparing dinner in a little while. Then we are off to chuch, the one we took you to and well, you know what happens the rest of the evening. Yesterday Kjel and I decorated our tree and found a perfect spot for the Texas-ornament. I love having memories of xmas past on my tree.
