Christmas Challenge- Day 14

The NEW Great Debate

  1. IMHO this whole "we cannot say Merry Christmas because that is an insult to those who don't celebrate Christmas" is way out of proportion. It was brought up in the UK too, and the first to go against it was in fact the shopowners from Pakistan and other places where they DONT celebrate xmas. First of all they feared loosing a lot of good trade during this season and secondly they had NO PROBLEM whatsoever with Xmas as long as they could celebrate the things they would like to celebrate.
What's next - replace Easter with "Happy Bunny day" oh no - couldn't do that - what would be vegetarians think ????
Sorry - will step down from my soapbox now... but it really annoys me a LOT.
