Someone... Anyone! Enlighten me, please!
Why is the skull & crossbones look for clothing and accessories so popular now? What is it about a skull that is "cute" on a girl? What is the purpose? What is the statement you are making when you dress your daughter in this style?
If you think this look is cute, please tell me why. If you don't like this look, I want to hear from you too!

Honestly, the lunch box in the top left corner would be adorable, if it did not have a skull on it.
I do not like this look, nor will I allow my girls to wear it. If they ask me why, I'll tell them I don't think it is appropriate wear for a little girl for the simple fact that the "skull and crossbones" design is used for things that are harmful, hazardous or dangerous. (All of which, my girls are not!)

I don't get this in relation to girls. However my GS was so much into pirates a few years ago we did buy him socks and black underwear with this pattern. Btw black undies were perfect at the age he had IYKWIM.... =0)
I'm not at all a fan either. Neither of my girls will sport this look-ever; and my boys will also never wear skull and cross bones if I can help it!
I don't let my girls wear this either. Not cute!
I've never liked it. I don't get it either...you could never add enough pink or bows for me to buy it for my girls.
